This new 42ft yacht (Pocket Pilot House) is the first of its kind. There are other yachts that may resemble her a bit, at least in theory. But in concept, function and character, there is no other like it. However, one of the most important design goals is to create a competitive cruising yacht with excellent performance.
A yacht with excellent handling, using well-proven solutions and technologies.
This yacht offers a level of comfort comparable to boats of about 50 feet in length. The main living space on board, starting from the aft platform, cockpit, main cabin, galley and office and lower saloon merge into one huge space. Measured somewhat conservatively, this is only 22 square meters. Add to that two cabins and a large bathroom, and overall you feel like you're in a beach house rather than a small yacht. For a 42-foot cruising yacht, PPH has more space than most others. This is because she has fewer cabins and a very different layout. You will never feel cramped “downstairs”, between bulkheads or below deck.
Arriving in your dinghy, you can climb aboard through the folded transom, go through the cockpit and enter the galley with one grocery bag in each hand, there are no steps anywhere and deck height differences.
The PPH is conceived for two people living on board in the comfort of a waterfront studio or small summer house.
