Soler-52+ Explorer is expedition cruising yacht for live aboard and cruising worldwide incuding high latitudes.
The hull and deck are made of aluminium alloy and house is of foam or woodcore composite for better thermal insulation and more height in salons. The hull sides can be painted in colour of choice or unpainted with bare aluminium.
The yacht has fixed built-in keel (no bolts) with moderate draft, skeg protected rudders, 3 watertight bulkheads and modern B&R rig for better performance in light wind. Dinghy garage for folding dinghy with rigid bottom, outboard motor, diving compresoor, etc.
The electricity is supplied by solar panels and diesel generator, big fuel tank and reliable diesel engine for motoring in no wind areas.
The grey and bilge water is collected in central bilge tank with 3 pumps: one manual, one main electric and one emergancy electric.
Powerful bowthruster for easy manouvering in ports. Practical Flexitek decking on side deck for easy maintenance and natural teak decking in cocpit for comfort.
Interior is finished in light colour panels with wood trimming. Most modern elctronics and equipment will be installed on date of order.
